Blown in Fiberglass insulation

Blown in Fiberglass Insulation

Like Traditional Fiberglass batts, this insulation was the standard 20 years ago. Due to it’s fluffy nature it does not provide any air sealing. The common analogy for fiberglass is comparing it to a wool sweater. Without something to cut the “wind” like a outer layer, a wool sweater would not be effective in the winter, especially in Syracuse! With out properly blocking air flow fiberglass will not perform.
